Cash For A Cause

Our district's nutritional service director lost her home in the Marshall Fire on December 30th. The 3rd Grade Class would like to run a fundraiser for her and her family two days in January. On Jan. 19th if you donate $1 or more, you can wear a hat during the day and on Jan. 26th if you donate $1 or more, you can wear PJ's. Thank you for your support.

Kindergarten Parent Open House for New Kindergartens for 2022-2023 School Year

Kindergarten Open-house is on February 1 from 3:30 - 4:30pm. Come and meet the kindergarten teachers and see the classrooms which are located in the Modular. Mr. Grubbs and Mrs. Orr will be available to answer any questions you might have about registration, and full-time verses part-time classes.

Kindergarten Registration for 2022-2023

It is time to start thinking about Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year. Students must be five years old by August 15, 2022 to be eligible. You will need a birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency to register. Enrollments will not be processed until all paperwork is turned in to the school office.

Online Registration will open on February 2 at noon. Visit our website and click on the enrollment tab. If you have other children in the district already, log onto your parent portal account to add the kindergarten student and verify your contact information. Registering in a timely manner will ensure we are able to request additional staffing if necessary and allow for more planning in the event space is needed to accommodate growth.

Before School Hours

With the cold weather upon us, this is a reminder that students should not arrive to school before 7:45 in the morning. Students arriving before that time will have no supervision and have to wait outside. At 7:45 they can either line up for breakfast or go to their teachers outside door.

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found as an abundance of coats, jackets, gloves and hats. Students are reminded weekly to look through the Lost and Found for missing items. Parents are also welcome to come look. Items left at the end of the school year will be donated to local church.

Spread the Word about New Free Youth Mental Health Sessions

In October, the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health launched I Matter, a program that provides up to three free counseling sessions for any Colorado youth. Youth and their parents can visit the I Matter platform to take a confidential online survey about their mental health and schedule sessions with a licensed behavioral health clinician, primarily via telehealth. All Colorado youth ages 18 or younger—or 21 and younger if receiving special education services—are eligible to receive free services. Youth 12 and older can sign up for counseling sessions without a parent or guardian's consent. More than 700 counseling appointments have been scheduled since I Matter launched. The growing list of participating I Matter therapists numbers 64 clinicians. Click on this link for details. https://imattercolorado.org/
